Terms & Conditions
By purchasing a monthly, bi-monthly or pre-paid subscription, you acknowledge that your subscription has an initial and recurring payment feature and you accept responsibility for all recurring charges prior to cancellation. Your subscription will be automatically extended for successive monthly, or bi-monthly periods at the original subscription rate. The date the order is submitted will be the ‘commencement date’ of your subscription. You can cancel your subscription at any time. Please see the ‘Subscription Cancellation’ section below. If you order a Gus & Bella Box as a one-off gift box there will be one payment only at the time you place the order. All orders are subject to acceptance by Gus & Bella Box. Gus & Bella Box is not obliged to accept your order and may, at its discretion, decline to accept an order.
Shipping and Risk of Loss
Shipping and handling fees are charged in addition to your order. Shipping charges are periodically increased to meet the current shipping rates in effect at the time. We do not give notification of shipping charge increases and may decide to change or abandon a service due to circumstances beyond our control (change in custom policies, international shipping procedures and rules etc.)
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure they have made arrangements that someone is at home to accept delivery. For any failed deliveries, it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure Gus & Bella packages are picked up from the local post office, and repeated failed deliveries may result in the cancellation of your membership.
Gus & Bella Box will send international deliveries via tracked, or tracked and signed Royal Mail postal services.
Shipping dates and/or arrival times are only estimates. Any loss or damage of parcels must be reported within 30 days of the original posting date, and are subject to investigation by Gus & Bella Box with the given postal service company on any missing parcels. Repeated claims of missing parcels are subject to investigation, and may result in cancellation of your subscription at any time if found suspicious or ungrounded.
Refunds & Exchanges
Any damaged/faulty items will be replaced by Gus & Bella Box upon proof (photographic evidence, return of item). Refunds for boxes will only be issued upon receipt of the original box, addressing all returns to: Gus & Bella Box, 17 Branksea Avenue, Hamworthy, Poole, Dorset, BH15 4DW, with an accompanying proof of postage in case of missing parcels. The cost of the box will be refunded, but any original shipping fees will be deducted.
Replacement of items
We understand that sometimes you may receive items in your Gus & Bella Box that aren’t to your taste, or you already own that item. We also understand that some cats have preferences, intolerances or allergies, and won’t be able to eat certain food items within the box. Unfortunately we cannot substitute these items for another product unless they are faulty or damaged during shipping. We suggest that you donate any unwanted items to a local cat shelter or charity.
You can cancel your subscription at any time by logging into your Gus & Bella Box account and clicking the ‘manage your subscriptions’’ link, and ‘cancel my subscription’. If you cancel your subscription prior to your recurring payment date you will not be charged and will not receive a Gus & Bella Box that month. If you cancel your subscription after your recurring payment date (4th each month) you will be charged and receive a Gus & Bella Box that month.
If your package has already been posted, we may issue refunds upon safe return of the box, and any shipping fees incurred will be deducted from the refund. In the case of failed deliveries, we will issue a refund upon safe return of the package by the postal service. Usually these returns will be conducted after 30 days of failed deliveries or non-attempts to be picked up by the customer from the local post office. Again, any refunds will deduct the original shipping fees.
Disclaimer of Warranty and Product Safety
You are solely responsible for determining if the products are suitable for use by yourself and or your cat. Gus & Bella Box is not able to provide any assurances regarding allergies. Under no circumstances will we be liable for any loss or damage caused by your use of the Products or your reliance on information in any Content on this Website or leaflets in the Gus & Bella Box. All edible/ consumable items in the box will have a detailed list of ingredients by the original manufacturer or brand, and it is solely the responsibility of the customer to determine whether they are suitable for use either by yourself or your cat. You agree that the use of our website and the products within our boxes is undertaken at your own risk.
Gus & Bella Box will include a range of toys and treats determined suitable for cats. We advise that all cat playing sessions are supervised, and we will not be liable for any injuries or accidents incurred during play sessions with any products included in the box. Items for humans may include; lifestyle, accessories, self-care, beauty, accessories, confectionery or wellness products for humans, and again, we advise reading all guidance on the outer packaging of each item detailed by the original manufacturer or company, and follow all safety guidance. We are not liable for any related accidents or injuries caused by these products.
Gus & Bella Box may terminate your membership, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or policies, is harmful to our business interests, or for an inactive account.
We strive to protect your personal data and any financial information, and will not share any information with third parties. Any data is for the sole use of Gus & Bella Box and we will protect your privacy. By entering our competitions, signing up to our mailing list, or subscribing, you are agreeing to being part of Gus & Bella’s database, and we may contact you with any relevant content, offers or promotions that may be useful for you or your cat(s), unless you have specifically only agreed to transnational emails upon subscription (ie. shipping info, order confirmations).
